Our collection for March and April will benefit the Young Adult Survivors United, YASU. They are a local organization that provides support for young adult cancer survivors and their families. Please check out their website to learn more about this wonderful non-profit: YASU – Non profit for survivors
Located in the Brooktree Office complex in Pine, they have asked us to collect personal and household items that can be costly. YASU gave us the list below as items they really need right now.
Disinfecting wipes
Laundry detergent (sheets are preferred or containers 100 ounces or less)
All purpose cleaner
Kitchen sponges
Baby lotion
Shampoo and conditioner
Body Wash
During your next shopping trip, please consider picking up one or two items and drop off the items in our bin in the foyer at McCandless Town Hall. Town Hall has changed their hours and are now open from 8:00 – 4:00 Monday through Friday.
Please reach out with any questions or if you need us to pick up your donation. We will be glad to do that.

There are many ways to volunteer to help us get our candidates elected.
Particular needs are people to work the outside of polls offering assistance to voters; canvassing, phone banking, text banking, or writing postcards to voters to introduce candidates and election issues.
If you are inspired by great candidates and want to know about running for public office we'll get you started and connected to the best people to help you.
If you navigate over to our committee members page you'll find out which Committee Wards and Precincts need someone. If there is already someone in a position we offer Associate membership.
